Getting Closer

In less than 2 weeks, I'll be sitting on a plane on my way to Ethiopia. It may not seem long - but it's going SOOOOO SLLOOOWWW!

Baby Shower

On Thursday, my co-workers threw a baby shower for me and another woman who just had a baby.

Look at all the cool stuff Keagan got.

Even I got some stuff - including a bottle of champagne and the prize for winning the celebrity baby matching game.

And Even More Pictures

I thought I'd post the referral pictures I got way back in January. He's about 6 weeks old in these. Don't mock the pink - my little guy didn't pick out the outfit and he's still the cutest thing ever!

More pictures

Here are two more pictures of Keagan. He's about 4 months old in these.
Enjoy!

He's Mine!

After being told that I might not hear a decision for several days, I got an e-mail this morning saying that we passed court.

It was close. 6 other agencies had their court cases cancelled today, but our case worker somehow managed to get ours pushed through. So all 6 families passed and we'll all be traveling together in May.

I can finally relax and not worry that something will go wrong. Yeah!

Well Poo!

I just got an e-mail from my adoption coordinator. Court is still scheduled for tomorrow (or overnight).... HOWEVER, she said she may not hear the decision FOR SEVERAL DAYS.
Fantastic.

5 Months Old

Just a short post today. Keagan is officially 5 months old - and we're just a week from court.
Cross your fingers!

2 WEEKS!

Well - it's now just two weeks until the scheduled court date. I'm still waiting to hear if new TB testing rules in Ethiopia will delay that. I'm obviously hoping that's not the case.
In the meantime - I just got new pictures and video from my adoption coordinator. They woke him up for the little photo shoot - and he did NOT look amused.
I wish I could post them now - but I'll have to wait until I pass court.
Keep your fingers crossed!
