Fun At Coulon Park & Beach

Mommy took me to the park today. There's a great playground there.
I decided the steps were boring, so I climbed up this thing instead.
Sometimes I got my feet all tangled up.
Then I used this fun zipline-type thing.  Mommy only let go for about a second to take this picture.
But my favorite spot was at the beach.  Mommy let me dangle my feet in Lake Washington.
Then we played in the sand.  I had fun throwing rocks in the lake.
I really wanted to grab a stick, but I wasn't too sure how close I wanted to get to the lake.
Maybe I'll just dip my toes in the water and make some footprints in the sand.
Mommy, maybe I'll get just a little bit closer.
Well, maybe I'll just climb right in.  The water was pretty warm. I had fun splashing around. But Mommy wouldn't let me go any further.

It was pretty fun. Mommy asked me if I was tired after we left. I told her no, but I might have to yawn soon.

He's A Stubborn One

So, Keagan has decided that he's not a fan of bedtime.  It's now become a 90 minute ordeal every night.
Tonight, I put him to bed - and every 10 minutes he'd call from his bedroom, 'Mommy, I slept my nap can I get up now?'  When I told him no - it would prompt a tantrum. He finally fell asleep after 5 tantrums and 7 Mommy trips into his bedroom.

Fun At The Bismarck Zoo

These ponies might be just my size.
Check it out, little goats. I wonder if everything in this zoo is miniature?

Mommy and I even fed these guys some corn. It tickled my fingers.

This was a lot of fun - but pretty messy.
 TRAAAAAIINNNNNN!!!!!!
We got to ride this cool train around the zoo. The lady driving the train was supposed to tell us all about the animals. She didn't do a very good job.
 Check me out!

Hey Grandma & Grandpa, can that alligator get through this fence?
Hey Grandpa, you got some rats over there too?
Look, mice (or some other rodents) like to play with trains too.
Those are some mighty big turtles.

Mommy and I really like spending time on planes. But I don't usually get to stick my hands out the window.
I was very excited about this tunnel at the prairie dog exhibit.
But I wasn't too sure about actually going inside.
Grandpa tried to get me in with a little push.
But I made him go in first.
He's a lot taller than me, so I'm not sure how he got in.

Hey, look what was on the other side of that tunnel. A cool lookout area to look at some mighty big gophers.  That thing sure is fat.
They can't get in here can they?
This monkey thing made some really loud hollering noises.
These guys were reaching for popcorn that people threw at their cage.

After the zoo, we went to visit the Brown family at Mary's place. I found a Thomas book in their bookshelf and had to show it to Mary & Sharon.
These pictures were from the first Sunday we were in North Dakota. We might the Marquarts & Cahoons at a restaurant. I love posing for pictures.
I also like to pretend that I'm shy.... but everybody knows I'm not.

4th of July in Fargo

We got to take the motor home to Fargo so we could see Uncle Joe for the 4th of July.
It was super hot, but Grandpa was a trooper and played on the big playground set with me.
I love swinging. I wanted to do this all day. Grandpa's arms may have objected.
There was a cool bridge to cross. The biggest obstacle was this big kid.
It was smooth sailing once he got out of the way.
 Hey, look at me!
 Almost done.
 This slide was awesome.
I accidentally landed on my butt the first time. The 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th times I did it on purpose. It was pretty funny.
This is our view of the Red River where we camped in the motor home. Mommy wouldn't let me go swimming in the water. She said it was dangerous, the water did look pretty yucky though.
We went across the river to see the fireworks show.  I got these cool glow stick things.
Grandma brought along black-bottom cupcakes. Grandpa helped me with the first one.
I decided to just lick the frosting off the 2nd one.
Grandma made a pretty comfy chair while I watched the fireworks go off.
Here's me and Grandpa heading back down the hill to the motor home.
 It's trickier than it looks.
Mommy had to drive Uncle Joe's car back to Fargo. I rode in the motor home and watched her out the back window. But that 10 minute drive was tiring and that bed is comfortable. I didn't quite make it all the way.

Chillin' At Grandma & Grandpa's House

I went on a fun golf cart ride with Grandma & Grandpa.
Grandpa even let me help drive (he's not too sure about my skills)
We went very fast - and crashed through the low-hanging branches on trees. It was HILARIOUS!
Grandma makes the best red slush. I wanted some for breakfast, lunch, snack & supper every day.
And no trip to North Dakota is complete without some pool time.
I actually agreed to wear some shorts - but I really wanted to go without any like I do in the bathtub.
This squirt gun was kind of fun too. Too bad I wasn't any good at shooting the bugs.
