Surgery Day

Today I had another ear surgery. This time I got a tube in my right ear and got the adenoid on my right side taken out.
Even though puppy and blanky came along to comfort me, I didn't like the idea very much.
Then the anesthesiologist came and asked me what "flavor" of air I wanted to breathe during my "nap".  I told her I like strawberry-chocolate.  She and the nurse looked at each other, and then looked at Mommy who just shrugged her shoulders.  They didn't have that, but they DID manage to mix up a couple other flavors to make it for me.
After that, I decided to check out the books.  Mommy read the Lion King book 3 times before they came to get me for surgery.  It took about 30 minutes.  The doctor said everything went awesome and that I did great (I'm  not sure how I could have slept wrong).  HOWEVER, in the recovery room, the nurse would not take my IV out - and I screamed and cried.  I even refused to eat my orange popsicle or drink my apple juice.  But as soon as the IV came out of my hand, I devoured that stuff.

We finally got to go home.  I settled in with "Splish Splash Splosh" and a snickerdoodle.  Recovery is so much easier in the comforts of home.

Keagan & Mommy Fun Day

Today we went to the Museum of Flight in Seattle. It was awesome.

First, we went to the space section. I got to see a little model of the space shuttle.
This is from the shuttle simulator where the astronauts did their training. They had the tunnel blocked off so I couldn't climb in.
This is the outside of the trainer - it's big.
 SPACE MAN!
This is a Soyuz capsule. There are seats for 3 people in there, but it doesn't look very comfortable.

Then we went on the Concorde. It wasn't very big. I could barely fit through the aisle.

Then we headed over to an old Air Force One to see how the presidents travel.
 That's a very short bed.
This is the President's "state room".

And that's the cockpit.  It was blocked off so we couldn't sit in the seats.

There were some really strange planes.  That guy looks like he's in a flying box. Mommy doesn't think it looks too safe.
Check it out, a car with plane wings.
The Kid's Flight Zone was pretty cool. I got to fly a couple planes.
This one seems to be just the right size.
Mommy said I couldn't walk out on the wing though.
I got to stand in a hot air balloon. Mommy said I won't ever ride in one of these.
 Another cool plane.
What do these buttons and knobs do?
I wonder if anyone noticed that parts of the plane moved when I hit that lever?
I also got to climb into the cockpit of an old fighter jet.
This looks like it could be pretty cool.
