Keagan will come up with just about any excuse not to eat food that isn't just junk.
He used to eat pepperoni - but has now come up with a reason not to eat that as well.
Tonight I fixed him a homemade lunchable (pepperoni, club crackers, a cheese stick and apple slices). He ate everything except the pepperoni - explaining that he couldn't eat it - because it was too spicy for his nose - and might make it bleed. Sounds logical.

Catching Up
So it's been a long time since I've posted on this site. I'm going to try and get better at it so I've got things written down in a more permanent place than just Facebook.
It's been busy since Keagan turned 5. He's now almost 47" tall and weighs about 45 lbs. Still doesn't eat more than 5 different foods but somehow still grows like a weed.
April 2nd he had his latest dental appointment. I told the dentist that Keagan has to keep all of his teeth until mid-June so he doesn't have a big, ole gappy smile for Joe & Emma's wedding pictures. The dentist took one look in his mouth and said 'yeah, that's never going to happen'. The bottom two teeth could go at any time - and his top two front teeth are starting to get loose too. Those MAY stay in until after the wedding - but he said it's doubtful.
Meanwhile - Keagan has decided that he has a girlfriend now. I picked him up at school one day and a little girl gave him a big hug as we left. I kind of teased him and said 'is that your girlfriend?' He got all shy and smiley and said 'Yes". Then I noticed the little girl (Diyonnae) standing in the window blowing kisses at him. I asked him what it meant that she was his girlfriend - and he said 'it means I get to kiss her'. I tried to explain to him that - no - he can't just go around kissing the girls whenever he wants because it could get him in trouble at school.
Well today - I picked him up from school and I was told they had an 'incident report'. Usually that means he got hurt playing. Well the assistant center director came over and talked to me and said Keagan and a friend were playing under the big play set outside - and the other child sat down in Keagan's lap. Eventually she told me that it was a little girl. I knew immediately who it was. She said that she explained to both of them that you have to keep your bodies to yourselves. So I had to once again tell Keagan than he and his friend can play - they just can't be sitting on each other and kissing. Luckily - he didn't try kissing her on the playground. I think I've convinced him that's just for family.
Who knew I'd be dealing with this when he's just 5 years old!
