Getting Ready For The Wedding

One night we met Emma's family at Grazie's for supper.  Keagan really liked her sisters.
This is the church during the rehearsal.  Everyone is trying to figure out what the plan of action.
I practiced walking down the aisle with one of Emma's sisters.  I actually walked with Ollie during the wedding though.
I was pretty focused on getting to the front of the church and getting the ring to the right person.
The wedding stuff was ok, but this big train at Bonanzaville was MUCH more interesting.
They had a big model train in the shed that was pretty cool too.

Chillin' In Fargo

We landed in Fargo on Saturday and Sunday was Father's Day.  Luckily we got to celebrate with Grandpa this year.
 We got him a card.
I signed my name and even wrote "I Love You"
 He seemed to like it.
We checked out the Atrium where Joe and Emma's wedding reception was going to be held.  I was running around like crazy because there was a lot of open space.  I didn't watch where I was going and I slammed my head into one of the pillars in the middle of the room.  I got a huge bump on my head and the pillar got a dent.

Grandpa and Grandma brought my bike along in the motorhome.  I even got to ride it a couple night in the Grazies parking lot where we camped all week before the wedding.
'Sup?!  One morning we got to go to IHop for breakfast.  I decided to try on Grandpa's hat - but I had to wear it the cool way.
Of course we had to go to McDonald's.  I got a happy meal (what else) and it had these fun punch out eyes on the box.  Sure makes a goofy picture.

Headed To North Dakota

Getting ready to leave for our 2 week trip to North Dakota.
Mom booked a red eye flight, so we didn't leave until 12:45ish.  It's dark out, but I'm ready to go.
I was crabby by the time we got to Minneapolis.  And then things got worse.  Our first plane had mechanical issues - TWICE.
Keagan liked that they drug out the snack and drink cart.
After we boarded for the 3rd time (on a different plane) - we had ANOTHER delay because of the weather.  It was just too windy for a while.
We finally got into Fargo nearly 4 hours later than we were supposed to.

Pre-K Graduation

Keagan had his pre-K graduation ceremony on June 11th.  He got to wear a real cap and gown and everything.

I was asked to recite a poem.  I memorized it in one night.
I did a good job, don't ya think?

Then I got my diploma.

This is my teacher, Linda.  I wanted a picture with her.

These are all the kids in my class.

Odds & Ends

Keagan spent one day at his friend, Daniel's house.  He was put to work helping clean up the yard.
He did a little raking.

And he even helped mow the lawn.

Jurassic Quest

Keagan saw a commercial for something called "Jurassic Quest" at the Evergreen State Fairgrounds in Monroe.  It was all about dinosaurs - so of course we had to check it out.

While we waited for Daniel & his dad to show up - we waited in line to play in one of the bouncy house areas.  Keagan and some random kid compared scars while they waited.
He also did some digging for dinosaur bones.
Keagan got bored with the digging - so he conned a 2 year old to trade with him so he could use this brush instead.
When Daniel arrived - they did some more dinosaur digging.
Then a dinosaur walked through the crowd. Some guy was taking him for a walk on a leash.  They managed to get close enough to pet it.
They didn't seem too sure about it though.
Then we went into another building that had gigantic moving replicas of dinosaurs.  The boys thought that was pretty cool.

This one was kinda gross - it was pretending to eat a giant dead fishlike thing.

Of course - this was the favorite. The T-Rex. Then they got into a fight over who liked the T-Rex more.  I convinced at least one of them that they could both like the same dinosaur (Keagan wasn't quite convinced)
Back to the bounce house area.  This one was big - and had a couple different slides too.

Then they conned the parents into letting them get their faces painted (for $5)  Keagan got a snake - but told the woman he only wanted it if she would make it a red one instead of green and brown like it was in the book.
 Daniel got a Spinosaurus.
