Sand In The City

Today we went to "Sand In The City" in Olympia.
Cousin Ella, Cousin Ollie and I fed little horses. He was more interested in eating the hay than the little car I offered him.

I looked at some rocks - I mean tortoises. They didn't do much.

Then we played with giant bubbles. I was very upset when I had to share, and even more angry when we had to leave.

Then we found a giant sand pit to play in.

I even played with some shovels and scoops that helped get me really dirty.

I did not build this.

The water table was lots of fun... but they should have had towels nearby.

And of course there's always time for dancing.

I got to try out my fish pool Thursday and it actually had some water in it.

Keagan's 1st (and hopefully last) surgery

The image is a little fuzzy (not a very good cell phone camera) - but here's a picture of Keagan in his hospital duds before surgery this morning.

The surgery only took about 15 minutes - and we were out of there less than 20 minutes later.
He was a little groggy for about an hour after we got home but has been on warp speed ever since... except for his 4 hour nap.

He seems really happy and chatty and the ears don't seem to be bothering him at all. Here's hoping the tubes will stop all those god-forsaken ear infections.

Catching Up With Keagan

A weekend at our house. I like to start out lounging on Mommy's bed, watching a little "Thomas The Train"

Mommy got me this great fish "swimming pool". It's a little chilly outside, so we played with it inside instead.

It's pretty tall.

I didn't like sitting in it very much though.

Blaming Me Already

OK - I know he'll kill me when he grows up... but this is funny.

I've been saying "Silly Keagan" a lot - and he echoes back saying "Siiy Mommy" (because he can't say "l")

This morning I was changing his diaper and he lets out a fart. I say "Keagan!". He immediately starts giggling and says "Siiy Mommy!".

I had to laugh.

A Day At The Air Show

Today I went to an air show with Mommy, my Uncle Mike, and cousins Ella and Ollie.
Ollie and I had it made. We were rocking the strollers all day and didn't have to walk around and sit on the hard cement.

Ollie saw the plane coming by first and pointed it out to me.

Look at it go! It's so fast - and SO loud.

Ella was really good at keeping us both entertained.

I wish another plane would fly by.

This is so much fun!

Darn Ears

Yep! It's official. Keagan's got a date with the doctor and a new set of ear tubes. While we were meeting with the specialist today we also found out that he's got another ear infection brewing. For those of you counting at home - that's number 7 since he's been home from Ethiopia. Hopefully the ear tubes will at least slow down the infections - and maybe stop them completely. Surgery is scheduled for August 3rd and he should be good as new later that day.

Golfing

So Grandpa got out the golf clubs this week. Sure, I can try this.
